SOCIAL DISTANCING ISN’T RELATIONSHIP FRACTURING

As at 5pm today, 1,712,353 COVID19 cases have been registered with the moloch claiming over 104,800 lives globally.

The fatalities include several clerics, medical doctors, rich, poor, children, the aged and all shades of the world’s demographics.

From the figure of those (so far) infected, 389,651 have recovered, while others are getting infected, dying and recovering. Nonetheless, I am assured and convinced that you’re very well, in good spirits and optimistic that this “too will be history” before long.

Evidently, we have continued to enjoy God’s Grace, mercy and greatest privilege: Life.

The reaffirmation that life is a privilege is the reason I am reaching-out to express my sincere gratitude and respect for the relationship between us and to reassure you that I cherish you a lot.

Yes, we are asked to observe all certain preventive protocols including social distancing and I wholly agree with that. As a direct consequence, things are momentarily different but I am encouraged knowing that what we share shall, essentially, remain the unperturbed. In fact, our relationship should be more profound during this period than it has ever been and I wholeheartedly extend, even further, my hand of fellowship.

Without a doubt, the pandemic underbellies a trauma that will ripple-out with devastating social, business and economic consequences: Consequences with implications that would run contrary to desires and expectations.

I’m confident that we can leverage the opportunities (from the current situation) to mitigate some of our age-long challenges. I believe, It’s a time to be a champion of some sorts and since “excellent captains are usually advertised by storms and not calm waters”, nature has offered a rare platform.

I pray God to keep you and your family safe now and always.

Thank you so much for your time.
