A disabled girl hawking sachet water with her pictures trending on social media with the smiles she worn while hawking, moved a leader with capacity in oshodi popularly known as skibanj, a philanthropist and a young vibrant politician whose interest is to develop people around the community and Lagos state at large.
In his quest to empower youth in oshodi and base on his verifiable records of his activities on social welfare to physically challenge and ably fit who had immensely benefitted, she will not be exempted from skibanj welfare services; this prompted him and his aides to find and know more about her.
This girl name is Mary Daniel from Kogi state, she was raised in Kastina with her late parents that died in year 2012, she had an accident in 2006 when she was 6 years old on her way from school, she was crushed by a trailer but unfortunately she lost her right leg through the accident, she was able to give thanks to God that the accident didn’t take her life but only her right leg. Later she lost her parent and since then she has been fending for herself, she travelled to Delta in asaba from there she came to Lagos under bridge oshodi where she dwells and make her business. Evidently she give her reason for hawking rather going about to beg for alms, this will not be disclosed yet.
She really appreciate the presence of the honourable and his team for looking out and checking on her, this kind of love she received today is a goodwill that will keep her strong and give her hope for the future.
