Security guards on Monday manhandled and beat up the Chairman of Ovia South West Local Government Area, Mr. Destiny Enabulele while he was trying to force his way into the reception venue of the 80th birthday of immediate past chairman of the All Progressives Congress, John Odigie Oyegun.
Enabulele, who approached the entrance of the ISO venue of the reception in company with his aide was asked his access card but he could not produce it.

Attempts by his aide to introduce him was rebuffed by the guards, who insisted on seeing the access card before they allowed him in.
When he was asked to turn back Enabulele insisted on having his way with his aide.
He was immediately grabbed by the neck and thrown out.
The situation almost turned to fracas as both Enabulele and his aide reacted.
It took the intervention of the protocol officer, who knew Enabulele before the situation was brought under control and he was allowed into the reception venue while his aide was locked outside.
