Acting Inspector-General of Police, Usman Alkali Baba, has announced, appointments, postings and reappointments of top police commanders.

This was contained in a statement on Friday issued by Force Public Relations Officer, CP Frank Mba, and titled , ‘IGP Appoints AIG Hafiz Inuwa As Force Secretary As AIG Dandaura Moves To Zone-7 Headquarters’.

Inuwa, aside from being posted as the Force Secretary, will also serve as a member of the Force Management Team.

The new IGP equally approved the re-appointment of CP Frank Mba and Ag. CP Idowu Owohunwa as the Force Public Relations Officer and Principal Staff Officer to the IGP respectively.

According to the statement Inuwa will take over from AIG Mustapha Dandaura, who was redeployed to Zone-7 Police Headquarters, Abuja.

Prior to the new position, Inuwa was the Assistant Inspector General of Police in charge of Zone-13 Ukpo-Dunukofia in Awka, Anambra State, covering Anambra and Enugu State Police Commands

In a similar vein, the IGP has ordered the posting of the following officers; CSP Idris Abdullahi Abubakar as the PSO II to the IGP, SP Isah Abdulhamid as PA-IGP, SP Nura Kabir Hanga as Secretary – IGP, amongst other personal aides,” the statement read partly.
