Senator Olubiyi Fadeyi Ajagunla Launches ₦70 Million Rehabilitation of Ilobu ICT Center

In another unprecedented display of readiness to harness all available resources to improve Information and Communication Technology (ICT), Osun Central Senator, Olubiyi Fadeyi Ajagunla has commenced the immediate rehabilitation of the moribound Ilobu ICT center which will gulp a whopping sum of seventy-million Naira.

The center, currently in a state of disrepair, will undergo a comprehensive overhaul, including structural renovations and the acquisition of modern equipment such as computers and printers. The goal is to transform it into an accredited ICT facility that will benefit both the town and the wider Senatorial District.

At the project’s launch, facilitated by former Deputy Speaker of the House of Representatives, Rt Hon Lasun Yusuf, and Hon Akin Titiloye, who serves as the Director General and Director of Projects for Senator Ajagunla, the Senator emphasized his commitment to leveraging ICT to engage youth more productively and enhance the educational system.

Once completed, the revamped ICT center is expected to provide opportunities for local youth, reducing unemployment by offering training and resources. It will also serve as an accredited venue for computer-based examinations and a resource hub for knowledge and research accessible to all age groups.
