Senator Natasha condoles Adoji over mum’s death

Senator Natasha Akpoti-Uduaghan, representing Kogi Central senatorial district, has offered her condolences to Dr Victor Alewo Adoji, the 2023 Kogi East senatorial candidate, over the passing of his mother, Deaconess Rebecca Adoji.

The family announced the matriarch’s demise on Monday.

“With deep sorrow and submission to the will of God Almighty, we announce the transition of our beloved mother, Deaconess Rebecca Adoji, who has gone to be with the Lord,” the family stated.

In her condolence message, Senator Akpoti-Uduaghan expressed her grief over the sad event, particularly given Deaconess Adoji’s role as a devout Christian and role model who inspired and nurtured younger generations of leaders.

She prayed to God to grant the family the strength to bear the loss and encouraged them to find solace in the fact that Deaconess Adoji left a lasting legacy and lived an exemplary life.

“Though we mourn, we find comfort in the fact that Deaconess Adoji lived a fulfilling life and left behind a patriot, quintessential democrat, and true leader in Dr. Adoji. I extend my condolences to the Adoji family and the people of Kogi East, and pray that God grants them the fortitude to bear this irreparable loss,” she said.
