Kogi East Youth Integrity Group has bestowed most esteem award on Senator Dino Melaye as “UKOMU AMOJA” which mean the voice of the masses, the group lead by Comrade Raphael Agalama described Melaye as a unified factor in Kogi state and Nigeria politics whose temporary absent from the senate is largely felt by all and sundries.
The group which is known for truth and justice considered Melaye worthy of the award due to the fact that his reigns in the red chamber as a Senator Representing Kogi East opened his doors to all across the state the quality that distinguished him as a rare gem among his pals, Agalama Said“ The award was in recognition of his good works towards the uplift of the downtrodden, capacity building and provision of certain basic needs to the people of Kogi West that he was representing and opened door principle to other region and aS Senator he has set a standard worthy of emulation by the upcoming leaders “
While receiving the award , the vocal Senator Melaye described Kogi East Integrity Group as one of the most outstanding civil group that is not going after money or unnecessary recorgnistaion but diligent in ensuring that the society is structured in the way and manner that reflect equality and justice for all .
