Senator Echocho Launches Fertilizer Distribution to Empower Farmers in Kogi East

 

Senator Jibril Isah Echocho, representing Kogi East Senatorial District, has intensified efforts to ensure a bountiful harvest and food security for families in the region. The latest initiative involves distributing fertilizers to local farmers in Idah, Ibaji, Igalamela, and Ofu Local Governments, following successful distributions in Dekina/Bassa and Ankpa zones.

The flag-off ceremony took place at the Attah Igala Palace, where His Royal Majesty, Dr. Matthew Opaluwa Ogwuche Akpa, praised Senator Echocho for his commitment to agriculture as a critical solution to hunger. He urged against the misuse of fertilizers and highlighted the necessity of using these resources to boost agricultural productivity.
