Senator Akpabio Under Fire for Sexist Comments and Harassment Allegations

Senator Godswill Akpabio is facing intense backlash for his recent comments and allegations of sexual harassment. The controversy surrounds his remarks towards Senator Natasha Akpoti-Uduaghan, which women’s group FLEADERS Nigeria has deemed sexist and demanded an apology.
Additionally, the Association of Eket Senatorial District Professionals has criticized Akpabio for his comments about former Governor Udom Emmanuel’s tenure. Furthermore, former NDDC chief Joy Nunieh has accused Akpabio of sexual harassment.
The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in Rivers State has declared Akpabio an “enemy of the state” due to his comments about Fubara. Hon. Ugochinyere has also condemned Akpabio’s remarks at Wigwe.
The mounting criticism highlights growing concerns about Akpabio’s behavior and comments, which many deem offensive and unacceptable.
