Senate To Go On 2-Month Break

The President of the Nigerian Senate Ahmed Lawan has announced that the Senate will go on recess from tomorrow 23rd of July, to resume on the 15 the day of September 2020.
Making this disclosure, the official twitter handle of the Nigerian Senate @NGRSenate credited the announcement to the Senate President.
“The Senate will go on recess from Thursday, 23rd July 2020 and will resume on the 15th Day of September 2020.” @DrAhmadLawan.
“Senate Leader moves that all items on the order paper be stood down to another legislative day. Minority Leader seconds. Plenary is adjourned to Tuesday, 15th September 2020,” tweet by  @NGRSenate read.
