As Lokoja/kogi federal constituency PDP commenced stakeholders meeting led by the state deputy chairman Hon. Chief Sam Abenemi and in company of other state Excos and some critical stakeholders across the federal constituency been hosted by His Excellency Distinguish Senator Tunde Ogbaha ably represented by Hon Yabagi Bologi.

The meeting stated with opening prayer follow by the opening remark by the PDP state deputy chairman who happens to come from Lokoja Local Government, in his remark he brings to notice of all stakeholders and members of the party that this meeting is an ongoing, that will go round the three senatorial district to consult with party members/supporters to seek for cooperation more support for the party to regain it power back and also to sort for an advice from the member on the way forward and to reassure the members that the party don’t remain mute as against some supposed perspectives held by some.

The deputy chairman, reminded the members that the party is in opposition and doing it’s best to remain accountable to it’s members and supporters across kogi state. Abenemi then thank the people for standing by the party despite the hardship, he said God Almighty in His infinite mercy will make us over come it that we still have a reason to rejoice when the party returns to power.
There were many contributions from the stakeholders. Hon Shaban Oyinoyi Shaibu who stood up and said with what Nigerians were going through with this present administration of APC it even enough for us to readdress ourselves to unite as a family to fight for the survival of Nigerians and particularly our beloved state kogi. Hon Shaban appeal to the members of the party to let maintain peace and resolve all matters within before the forthcoming party congress at the local and wards level. He further said that there is need for us to understand one another to get wider consultation to avoid creating unnecessary confusion and crisis that everyone that needed to be carried along the party should do so, he finally advice that we should let dialogue be the principle or instrument used in driving to our destination.

In a message to the stakeholders and party members both Lokoja and koto, from His Excellency Distinguish Senator Tunde Ogbaha who spoke through Hon. Yabagi Bologi regretted his absence in the meeting, however as he appreciates all the stakeholders, members of the party and all party supporters of PDP in keeping faith with the party and still keep away from anti party activities, giving assurance to all that with God’s Grace PDP will bounce back to power by next election.

While advising the the two Local Government party chairmen and their Exco members the Ward party chairmen and their Excos including the various stakeholders to go back to their units to reconcile it members and other supporters of the party and equally to welcome new members and the decampees.
So many ideas, suggestions and observations were made, which the party promised they will look into all the observations and get back to the members at various levels.
Hon Shaba Ibrahim member representing Lokoja/ kogi federal constituency also appealing to the members of the party that he knows he has made many promises to people appeal that more time should be given to him that very soon all will be fulfill by God’s Grace that all he needed from his people is prayers, cooperation and support for him to do more better.
Hon.Nnadama Bello the PDP woman leader Lokoja Local Government who spoke on behalf of the women request Hon Shaba Ibrahim to empower the women, she said that the as done well within the short period he has spent urge him to do more.
Finally Hon. Barr Shaba Ibrahim, thanked all the stakeholders members and supporters of the PDP in taking their precious time in attending the meeting and pleaded to those who are not informed about the meeting that he believes another meeting will call soon.
