Senator Natasha Akpoti-Uduaghan, representing Kogi Central senatorial district, has flagged off the construction of new schools in Osara for the Hausa/Fulani community and the reconstruction and remodeling of Abdul Azeez Atta Memorial College, Okene (AAAMCO).
The AAAMCO project aims to transform the institution into one of Nigeria’s most advanced secondary schools, with state-of-the-art facilities including laboratories, a CBT center, amphitheater, music studio, art and craft studio, staff quarters, sports center, and smart classrooms with digital learning devices for every student.
Additionally, the senator has launched the construction of primary and secondary schools in Osara for the Hausa/Fulani community, fulfilling her campaign promises. The new schools will feature modern facilities, including administrative buildings, libraries, laboratories, staff quarters, a clinic, sports facilities, and boreholes.
Senator Akpoti-Uduaghan emphasized the importance of education, noting that it is crucial for empowering future generations. She pledged to give similar attention to other schools in the senatorial district, transforming them into smart schools.
The Hausa/Fulani community has hailed the senator’s gesture, with Dr Nuhu Abubakar Jalido, Youth leader of Miyetti Allah Kogi State chapter, expressing gratitude for the opportunity for their children to access quality education.
