Saudi Arabia to translate Arafat sermon into Hausa languag

President General of the Holy Ka’aba Mosque and Prophet’s Mosque affairs Abdulrahman bin Abdulaziz Al-Sudais has directed Hausa language to be used in translating Arafat Day sermon.
Kano Focus reports that Al-Sudais announced this on Thursday during the annual media briefing on 2020 Hajj exercise.
He said his committee has approved increasing the number of languages used in translating Arafat Day Sermon from five to 10.
Mr Al-Sudais said the languages are Hausa, English, Malay, Urdu, Persian, French, Chinese, Turkish, Russian and Bengali.
The sermon will be available on Arafat Sermon application as well as on Manarat Al-Haramain platform.
Mr Al-Sudais indicated that this project is the largest of its kind in the world, and that the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia is ready for its third year in a row to deliver the message of Islam to the widest possible audience.
