The special anti robbery squad earlier this morning arrested an Ex Commissioner of police, Mr. Abutu.
He was arrested this morning in Abocho.
Report has it that he was taken to Lokoja the state capital by the men of the Special Anti Robbery Squad.
Mr. Ejeh Abutu until his arrest was the Head of the PDP Security Department.
According to an eyewitness who spoke with our correspondent on the condition of anonymity said the SARS men were led by Ahmed Attah, the Kogi East APC Chief to arrest Mr. Ejeh Abutu.
It is not clear why Mr. Abutu was arrested, but is likely that it is related to the forth coming guber election in two weeks time.
