Sambo, Lamido, Kwankwaso, Makarfi attend Kaduna PDP gov rally

Former Vice-President Namadi Sambo; a former governor of Kano State, Rabiu Kwankwaso; a former Jigawa governor, Alhaji Sule Lamido,  Chairman of the PDP Board of Trustees, Senator Walid Jibrin were among dignitaries that attended the Kaduna governorship rally in the state capital on Tuesday.
Others at the rally were former governors of Kaduna State, Senator Ahmed Makarfi, and Ramallan Yero; and a senator representing Kaduna North, Senator Suleiman Hunkuyi, among others.

Speaking on the occasion, the PDP governorship candidate in the state, Isa Ashiru, said the ruling All Progressives Congress in the state had failed.
Ashiru, who spoke in Hausa, urged the people to vote out the incumbent governor and candidate of the APC, Nasir El-Rufai, at the March 2, 2019 election in the state.
He also urged the people of the state to vote for the party at all levels.
The PDP candidate also said if elected, his administration would set up a committee to review the cases of 25,000 sacked teachers and other civil servants in the state.
He said he would reinstate those that were unjustly sacked by the el-Rufai administration.
He said, “Civil servants, teachers, where are you? We are assuring you that if we are voted into power, we will set up a committee to review the sacking of all teachers and civil servants by the APC government in Kaduna State.”
Also, the National Chairman of the Coalition of United Political Parties, Alhaji Buba Galadima, said the APC government symbolised hunger and urged Nigerians to kick out the party in the February and March polls.

“Nigerians have been suffering from hunger, poverty and insecurity and by the grace of God, by February 16, the hardship would be over if you vote for the PDP.
“You must make sure you vote for the PDP for President, governor and all other positions.
“You must protect your votes, come out and ensure you cast your vote no matter what,” Galadinma said
