The Peoples Democratic Party former Governorship candidate Engr Musa Wada scalled on Muslims and other Nigerians to live up to the highest ideals of their religious beliefs.
Engr Musa Wada made the call in his Sallah message from Idah, Idah local government area of Kogi state, urged citizens to live in peace and harmony with adherents of other faiths
He said the country needed more prayers, commitment and unity to address the greater challenges confronting the country “now than ever before.”
Musa Wada said, “with prayers and the fear of God, peaceful co-existence, mutual respect and love, Nigerians will tolerate one another, work together and be able to harness the abundant resources as a progressive nation.”
He also called on the citizens to continue to build bridges of brotherhood to harness the benefits of earthly life and the ultimate purpose of creation.
Musa Wada , however, charged citizens to avoid all acts that were capable of tarnishing the name of the religion, and rather embrace peace and seek a better understanding of faiths.
