Immediate past member, representing Dekina/Bassa in the House of Representatives,Rt Honourable Benjamin Ikani Okolo has lost his father,Pa Augustine Jibrin Okolo.
A family statement issued on behalf of the family,confirmed the death of Octogenarian,who pass on peacefully after a brief illness in Anyigba Dekina Local Government area.
Pa Augustine Jibrin Okolo was an elder in the Catholic Church of St Joseph Catholic Church,Anyigba before his demise.
A successful business man and a farmer of high repute,Pa Jibrin Augustine Okolo is survived by many children,grand children and great grand children.
Among them are Dr Akwu Okolo of Department of Education,Kogi State University,Anyigba,Rt Honourable Benjamin Ikani Okolo,immediate member of the House of Representatives, representing Dekina/Bassa and former Chairman Dekina Local Government.
Also Mrs Serah Okolo of the Federal Ministry of Agriculture,Abuja,Dr Lawrence Abutu Okolo,and Barrister Simon Okolo.
Mr Idakwo Okolo,Inikpi Okolo,and Justina Okolo,all in Abuja .
Pa Jibrin Augustine Okolo burial according to the family will be announced in due course .
