Rotimi Amaechi, Edo Deputy Governor Allegedly Placed On Traveling Ban By U.S Govt

The immediate past Minister of Transport, Rt. Hon. Rotimi Amaechi and the current Deputy Governor of Edo State, Rt. Hon. Philip Shaibu has been handed down indefinite visiting visa ban to the United States of America.

The duo was said to have been banned indefinitely from visiting the USA in President Donald Trump’s latest crackdown on terrorists, those with terrorism tendencies and other violent elements from within and outside the United States of America.
A discreet source who briefed LeadingReporters’ Head of Investigation on condition of anonymity revealed that Rotimi Amaechi may have been banned for his alleged role in perpetrating and aiding in perpetrating violence that led to the death of many indigenes of Rivers State in the aftermath of the just concluded General Election.  Recall that the international community and the election observer groups have reported extant collaboration by some key political actors at the Federal Level and the Nigeria armed Forces that led to the destruction of lives and properties during Rivers State Governorship election.
Another reason for banning Rotimi Amaechi may have to do with his alleged money laundering activities where it was reported that the immediate Minister of Transport laundered over US$200m into the country few months before the Presidential election, using his long time banker friend (name withheld) whom this medium learnt has been handling Amaechi’s financial nefarious activities.

In the heat of the 2019 general election, Rotimi Amaechi was said to have approached one of his allies whom he usesto repatriate funds believed to have been laundered by Rotimi Ameachi when he held sway as the Governor of Rivers State, to help him bring in some slush funds from some offshores accounts.  A request the   Reporters learnt was turned down by his ally whom we learnt complained that America Government has beamed its searchlight on him.  Rotimi Amaechi, we learnt resorted to an alternative source that helped him repatriate US$200m.
Philip Shaibu, on the other hand, was banned because of his affiliation with a deadly cult group in different campuses within the South-South region.  An Intel report, according to our source, indicted Philip Shaibu for not only being a member of a deadly cult right from his college days but for funding and using the members of the cult to perpetrate mayhem for political gain.
Our source further hinted that Nigerians would be shocked at the number of other elites from Nigeria who have been discreetly placed on traveling ban to the U.S. for issues bordering on terrorism, supporting and promoting restiveness and fatal agitations and money laundering.  Others who have supported any form of terrorist acts through their actions and utterances may not be allowed to visit the U.S. the source said.
Both Rotimi Ameachi and Philip Shaibu could not be reached as at the time of filing this report as their known numbers were both switched off.
