Rivers crisis: Tinubu won’t side you – Presidency to Wike, others

President Bola Tinubu has reaffirmed his commitment to neutrality in the ongoing political crisis in Rivers State, according to a statement by his Special Adviser on Media and Publicity, Ajuri Ngelale.

During a recent interview on TVC, Ngelale emphasized that the President will not take sides in the dispute, contrary to expectations. “Anyone banking on Mr. President to take sides on this matter will be disappointed,” he warned.

Instead, President Tinubu is focused on ensuring that all stakeholders have the necessary support to perform their duties effectively. He is committed to preventing any attempts to frustrate the Rivers State Government from conducting its affairs in a manner that benefits the people of Rivers State.

Ngelale urged all parties involved to understand the President’s neutral stance, saying, “Mr. President won’t take sides. He will ensure that everybody has what they need to work, and any attempt to frustrate the Rivers State Government won’t be allowed.”

This declaration of neutrality is seen as a positive step towards resolving the crisis in Rivers State, as it allows for a more constructive and inclusive approach to addressing the issues at hand.
