Re:Violence Protest By NCAG on Monday in Abuja.

The attention of the leadership of Nigeria’s most reputable and United Coalition of Civil Society organizations, The Nigeria’s Citizens Action Group (NCAG) has been drawn to a press statement purpotedly issued by one Obe Agu, an impostor masquerading as its member alleging that the group is planning a violent protest to discredit Mr President and the embattled CBN Governor. The impostor overzealously went further to pass a vote of confidence on Mr Emefiele and his failed Economic Strategy, thereby unintelligently unveiling the origin of the statement.

It is audible to the deaf and Crystal clear to the blind that Mr Godwin Emefiele is the character behind the charade. His statement is coming at a time our Group called on him to either resign or be sacked by Mr President, or in the alternative, we shall mobilise our members and suffering Nigerians to occupy the CBN Headquarters in Abuja and other branches in different states of the Federation. This we shall do peacefully, without resort to violence.

The failed CBN Governor’s agent dubiously dragged the name of Mr President into their statement to get a soft landing and draw shameful sympathy. We wonder when he started loving Mr. President than us the common masses.

We therefore challenge him to produce the 2015 and 2019 election results of his polling unit to see if indeed he supported the emergence of Mr President practically to prove the love President BUHARI beyond the goodies of the office he is currently occupying and shelfishly destroying Mr President good will among citizens

Our inspiration is drawn from one of the campaign promises of Mr President, wherein he promised to equate the exchange rate of Naira to Dollar. We will stand by him to achieve that. We won’t continue to fold our hands and watch people who worked against Mr President Political Aspiration in 2015 to succeed in labelling him as failure when he eventually leaves office without fulfilling his campaign promise. Mr President and above all, Nigeria must win this worthy battle in the long run.

Kindly note that we are yet to fix a date for our planned mass actions against the failed CBN Governor whose Resignation or Sack we have unconditionally demanded for, for obvious economy woes he is subjecting over 200m Nigerians into.
Our currency has never exchanged for $1 to N575 except under his watch. Nigerians can’t go deeper than this. The time to save the Naira is now. We are determine to do that.

The Two Weeks ultimatum as contained in our earlier Press release is still sacrosanct, it will elapse on Thursday, 23rd September, 2021. After which we will activate our next plan of actions.

It therefore means that the agent contracted to impersonate and maligned our noble organization and its leaders before media are unintelligent and unprofessional in their newly found trade. The level of the “intelligence” the hirelings manifested in the statement, is the same as the one driving our economy which has brought to its knees.

As we remain firm on our position #EmefieleMustGo, we are unshaking in our planned peaceful mass action against the continue stay of the failed CBN Governor in office.

As law abiding citizens of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, we shall duly notify relevant security agencies in writing once a final date is set for the #OccupyCBNProtest to press home our patriotic demand to salvage our Nation’s economy.

Therefore, We have no plan for any violent or any form of action for Monday 20th September, 2021 as misrepresented by the impostors in their press release published by “The Sunnewsonline” platform

The public and mostly importantly, security agencies are by this notice alerted.

Signed
