The member representing Jos South-Jos East Federal Constituency in the House of Representatives, Dachung Bagos had raised an alarm on a purported plan to turban one Samaila Abdulahi as Sarkin Kerana 4th of Bukuru Emirate which according to him does not exist.
He condemned the development as a delibrate plan to distabilise the fragile peace being enjoyed and called on the organisers to stop the purported turbaning scheduled for Saturday, August 1, 2020.
In a swift reaction, Chairman of the Local Government in an emergency meeting with heads of security agencies in the State says operatives have been deployed to halt the planned illegal turbaning for peace to reign in the area and assured that anyone found wanting in the illegal act will not be spared. He called on residents of the area to remain calm and go about their lawful duties.
