Rep Leke Abejide Bags Award of Selfless Service.

Member representing Yagba East, Yagba West , Mopa Amuro in the House of Representatives and ADC Governorship Candidate, Chief Leke Abejide has been honored by Alumni Association Class of 98, Kogi State College of Education Ankpa.

 

The award was confered during the silver jubilee celebration of the body held on Friday at Community Hall, Art and Culture, Abuja.

 

According to the organisers, the award was in appreciation of his contributions and outstanding performance in the area of Educational, physical, humanitarian, socio-economic and political development of his area and Kogi state at large.

 

Abejide over the years had paid WAEC/NECO fees of students from his federal constituency and by extension the entire Okun area, with a promise by next year when he becomes governor, no students of Kogi writing WAEC/NECO will pay the fees in 2023.

The House of Representatives member also distributed vehicles to traditional rulers across the federal constituency to assist the royal fathers in the day to day running of the traditional institution and their domain.
