He was a distinguished and respected member of the Bar, known for his exceptional legal expertise, professionalism, and contributions to the development of the legal profession in Nigeria.
A Brief History of Yunus Ustaz Usman, SAN
Yunus Ustaz Usman, SAN, was born on November 15, 1957, in Ogbogodo, Dekina Local Government Area of Kogi State. He was a legal practitioner and administrator who earned his LL.B. and BL degrees from Ahmadu Bello University, Zaria, and the Nigerian Law School, Lagos, respectively. He was a Senior Advocate of Nigeria (SAN) and had served in various capacities, including as Principal Counsel at Yunus Ustaz Usman & Co. (Nana Chambers), Kaduna, and as a member of the National Executive Committee of the Nigerian Bar Association.

The Kaduna Bar will miss his wisdom, expertise, and contributions. We pray that Allah grants him eternal rest, forgiveness, and admission into Al-Jannah Firdaus. May He also comfort and strengthen his family, the Bar, and loved ones during this difficult period. Funeral arrangements will be announced later.
