HRH, Ajofe Okai Jonah Idrisu was born in the town of Idah , Idah Local Government Area of Kogi State on the 4th day of January, 1961 to the family of Alhaji Idrisu Ekpo of Ajonuojo (Okoyi) Abocho, Dekina LGA of Kogi State and his beloved mother,Habibat Idrisu Oma Olema Ikakpo ,Ofu LGA of the state.
He attended LEA Primary School,Barnawa, Kaduna after a successful completion of his primary school education, he proceeded to Biraidu Community Secondary School , Abocho, from there to Government Secondary School, Dutsinma in Kastina state.
After his successful completion of the secondary school education, he went to Usman Danfodio University ,Sokoto for a Diploma course in Law.
His uncommon quest to further his education took him to Lagos State University were he bagged a Bachelor of Science Degree in Business Administration, he equally obtained an Advanced Diploma in Security Operation and Management Studies from University of Lagos (Unilag ).
The vibrant and unassuming , HRH Ajofe Okai Jonah Idrisu belongs to several professional bodies, studied the following course especially:Protective Security Detail Course.(PSD)Moyock , North Carolina ( USA), advanced officers skill course Moyock, North Carolina,(USA), Advanced Amorers course, Hartford, Connecticut ,( USA), E&F police investigation and intelligence course ,Lido Di Osita (Rome) Italy,United States Department of Justice course :
(1) Community oriented/ intelligence led policing .
(2) Advanced Community policing among others.
He is from Okoyi ruling house of Ajonuojo_ Abocho in Biraidu District of Dekina LGA of the state.
He is the 4th Onu Abocho from the Okenyi dynasty in this following order :

_Achimugu Okpachi Ajede Okenyi
_Amade Otubaje Onogwu and now,Okai Idrisu Onyebe Okenyi

*Working Experience*
Ajofe Okai Jonah Idrisu (Onyebe Okenyi 1V), was enlisted in to the Department of State Security Service as a cadet inspector 1988/89, served in Kaduna and Kastina Commands and was a security details to former governors, Col.Abubakar Dangiwa Umar retired and General Abudullahi Sarki Muktar retired after his training at the DSS Accedemy .
He served with Nigeria Customs service 1989/90_ 2021 where he retired as deputy controller of customs.
He held the following positions while in the service among are :
He was the provost / parade Commander Tincan Island port , after his successful fresher course in Lagos ,he was posted to Akwa/ibom command from there to Idiriko in Ogun State command were he headed various patrol teams.
Nigeria Customs Service (NCS) headquarters and appointed as chief security officer ( CSO) to the office of the controller general of customs ” Abdullahi Dikko
While in the service and after successful completion of various assignments from previous commands,he was again posted to Sokoto Command as officer in- charge of monitoring team, from there to Kirkiri higher terminal, Lagos, worked as Officer in- charge of operation at Brawal terminal, Lagos.
He was equally posted to the following Commands:
Borno /Yobe Command, worked as Officer in- charge of anti bunkering of the command, also posted to federal operations Zone”A’ Lagos as officer in charge patrol/ check points.
HRH,Ajofe Okai Jonah Idrisu is happily married blessed with good children.
Having worked in almost all the commands in the country with outstanding
experience and exceptional performance ,he was briefly posted to Murtala Muhammad Airport , Lagos, from there to the Nigeria Customs Service (NCS) headquarters and appointed as chief security officer ( CSO) to the office of the controller general of customs ” Abdullahi Dikko Inde’ and briefly worked with Col.Hameed Ibrahim Ali before he was posted to the Customs Intelligence Unit (CIU).
He has received many awards and commendations to his credit as a result of his excellent performance.
He was posted to the customs intelligence unit as an operative v,he was the pioneer officer in charge of the newly established special intelligence squad (SIS) of the Nigeria Customs Intelligence unit (Portharcourt Area 2 then to intelligence headquarters,were he served in the intelligence/operation desk, served as a resource person and course facilitator on intelligence at the customs training and doctrine command,having acquired relevants skills and knowledge and experience , the position he held till his retirement.
HRH,Ajofe Okai Jonah Idrisu is happily married blessed with good children.
He is a farmer at his ancestral home of Ajonuoja . He has been involved in many philanthropic services and helped to secure employment opportunity to many sons and daughters of Kogi State inrespective of tribe and religion.
He has provided boreholes to many communities and rendered assistance to some vulnerable individuals through payment of school fees , medical bills among others.
He has been of tremendous assistance to religion organizations in the area.
He is presently a practicing farmer before his appointment as the Onu Abocho from the Okohi ruling house after the demise of his predecessor,HRH, late Alhaji Tijani Okutachi .
