President Tinubu To Kwara Governor: You Received 6.8 Billion In December, 7.7 Billion In January, Nothing Stops You From Clearing Salary Arrears, Pension And Gratuities

Documents from the Office of the Accountant General of the Federation has revealed that Kwara State Government received over N6.8 billion as December, 2023 allocation, excluding that of the 16 Local Government Areas.

The document also disclosed that Kwara received net allocation of N7.7 Billion as allocation for January, 2024, excluding the 16 LGAs.

While awaiting the publication of how much the State and Local Governments received, investigations have revealed that large amount of money comes into the State, unprecedented and never-seen before money.

This is bringing to light that the State Government possesses enormous resources to cater for the welfare of citizens but refusing responsibility.

President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has charged Kwara State Governor and his counterparts to release funds to citizens by clearing all outstanding salary arrears, pension and gratuities of workers and pensioners.
