President Tinubu Meets with NDLEA Chairman, Brigadier General Buba Marwa

 

President Bola Ahmed Tinubu received the Chairman of the National Drug Law Enforcement Agency (NDLEA), Brigadier General Buba Marwa (Rtd), at the Presidential Villa in Abuja today. The meeting focused on the ongoing efforts to combat drug abuse and trafficking in Nigeria.

Brigadier General Marwa, a seasoned military officer and former governor, has been leading the NDLEA since January 2021. Under his leadership, the agency has made significant strides in tackling the drug menace, including high-profile arrests and seizures.

The meeting with President Tinubu is expected to further strengthen the collaboration between the NDLEA and the federal government in addressing the drug problem and promoting a safer and healthier Nigeria.
