Nigeria’s President, Bola Ahmed Tinubu, will host Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi for a State Visit on Sunday at the State House, Abuja.
Special Adviser to the President on Information and Strategy, Mr Bayo Onanuga, stated in a statement that Prime Minister Modu will arrive in Nigeria on Saturday.
Modi’s visit to Nigeria is the first by an Indian prime minister since Dr Manmohan Singh’s state visit in 2007, when Nigeria and India established a strategic partnership.
President Tinubu and Prime Minister Modi will seek to strengthen Nigeria’s and India’s ties further during their bilateral discussions.
Both leaders will also exchange signed Memoranda of Understanding (MOUs) to enhance collaboration in critical sectors.
