Political Thuggery: Court orders arrest of Kano APC Chairman

A Federal High Court in Kano has issued an order for the arrest, investigation and prosecution of All Progressives Congress( APC) chairman Abdullahi Abbas.

In a lawsuit filed by Mahmoud Lamido, the party chairman is accused of threatening life, disrupting peace, and making hate speeches.

Lamido’s lawyer, Bashir Yusuf Muhammad, told the court that Abbas threatened to kill his client over the phone.

The presiding Judge, Justice S. A. Amobeda, adjourned the case until February 16th to monitor compliance.
