Police Officer Who Rejected ₦864 Million Bribe Finally Promoted

 

Francis Erhabor, the police officer who has never collected bribe is the Commander of Quick Intervention Unit (QIU) Akwa-Ibom Police Headquarters, Uyo. He was yesterday morning decorated with a new rank of Assistant Commissioner of Police (ACP) by the State Police Commissioner, CP O.A. Durosinmi, months after he reportedly attempted to resign over non-promotion having rejected ₦864 Million.

The reports claimed that the officer, who was a chief superintendent of police (CSP), attempted to resign about 2years ago after witnessing his subordinates repeatedly get promoted to become his superiors while his rank remained the same.

The officer had first joined the Nigerian Police Force (NPF) as a cadet inspector in 1990.

ACP Erhabor is due for retirement by 2025
