POHAN, NAPSAS To Hold National Public Service Award, Summit

The National Public Service Award and Summit (NAPSAS), on Sunday said it had concluded plans to hold its public service ward and summit 2021, in collaboration with the Public Office Holders Association of Nigeria (POHAN).

The Director General of NAPSAS, Chief Dr. Moses Deola Eseyin, who made the announcement in a statement in Abuja, said the summit was in commemoration of the World Public Service Day 2021.

”Furtherance to NAPSAS commitment to its objectives to help building competency and efficiency with prestige of the public service of our dear nation, we announce the 2021 edition of the public service award and summit.

”The summit is organised in commemoration of ”World Public Service Day”, scheduled to hold in June 2021.

”NAPSAS is the most prestigious award of recognition of excellence in public service. It rewards creative achievements and contributions of public service institutions, leading to a more effective and responsive public administration in Nigeria”, Eseyin said.

According to him, the programme will be an avenue to interact and gather knowledge from experts and other professionals of indigenous and international resource persons.

He added: ”we shall be commending and giving awards to worthy public servants of different categories, which will cut access all strata of Public service both Local, State and National Levels.

”It is view of the above that the organisation announces the commencement of voting from 1st of March, 2021, for the 2021 NAPSAS.

”NAPSAS is aimed at recognising excellence, honor outstanding, patriotism, and dedication in public service at the Local, State and National levels, as a way to maintaining standards in public service.

”People are advised to only vote once for candidates of their choices for each category of nominations.
