President Bola Tinubu held an emergency meeting with top traditional rulers, security officials and governors of the All Progressives Congress (APC) regarding the planned ‘EndBadGovernance’ protest slated for August ¹. The meeting was attended by:

– *Governors*: Chairman of the Progressives Governors’ Forum and Imo State Governor, Hope Uzodinma; Chairman of the Nigerian Governors’ Forum (NGF), Governor AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq of Kwara State ¹ ².
– *Other Officials*: Vice President, Senator Kashim Shettima; Secretary to the Government of the Federation, Senator George Akume; Minister of Information and National Orientation, Mohammed Idris; Minister of Justice and the Attorney General of the Federation, Lateef Fagbemi ².
