The governor of Kano State Abdullahi Ganduje and his predecessor Rabiu Kwankwaso have met at the VIP lounge of Nnamdi Azikiwe International Airport.
The chance meeting forced the two leaders to greet each other before their flight to Kano.
The two leaders had been avoiding each other since their relationship became frosty more than some years ago.
