Percentage Salaries; Group Accuses Kogi NLC ,TUC Over Silence On Yahaya Bello’s Position

Kogi Patriotic Group KPG has challenged the labour leaders over grave yard silence on the statement by Kogi Governor,Yahaya Bello,feigning payment of percentage salaries to Kogi workers for the past six months.
The group in a statement personally issued by Abdul Abdul in lokoja today,ask labour leaders to return balance of percentage salaries to state civil servants or face public embarrassement from Kogi workers.
Kogi state govenror Yahaya Bello in the National television exonerated his administration over payment of percentage salaries to Kogi workers since the beginning of this year.
‘The public denial shows that some labour leaders must have connived with top government officials to shortchange public workers in the state.’
The group promised to alert the anti corruption agencies like the EFCC and ICPC,to carry out a wholistic investigation into this weighty allegations and position of Kogi state Governor.
‘It is disheartening and tantamount to haywire corruption for public workers emoluments to be pilfer by labour leaders and top government officials,without the consent of the govenment.’
Abdul promised to start the campaign to recover Kogi workers salaries balance from court of public opinion, and later the conventional courts to unravel the culprits.
