The former two term minister and Yobe PDP gubernatorial candidate for several times, Adamu Maina Waziri assured that his party the Peoples Democratic Party would performed better in 2023.
Waziri made disclosure in Potiskum during the ongoing party congress of the 17 local government in the state, OBSERVERS TIMES
He said “But for us to win the gubernatorial we must work for it and I don’t expect God will give us the gubernatorial seat on a platter of gold because God direct us to work for whatever we want.
“We will work for it but what I want to assure you in 2023 we will do better than what we did in 2019.
Also commenting the PDP chairman screening and congress committe for Yobe State, Dr Abdulrahman Bobboi said the party can do more better than what APC is doing in the state.
“Yobe should give PDP and opportunity, they will see the difference, go to Adamawa and all other PDP states there are a lot of development.
” So we are fully prepared as I have told you much earlier that PDP is prepared for the leadership in Nigeria, it is prepared for even the leadership in Yobe State,
“We believe with PDP government in Yobe State they would have more development than what they are having today.
“Nigerians are now aware and
They now have the opportunity to compare and contrast, you don’t need to tell any Nigerian today as to whether PDP is willing, is able, is capable to rule this country, everybody knows this.
He commended the smooth conduct of the election.
” Already we have visited some few local governments and you can see here in Potiskum local government it is peaceful from all indication and the process is ongoing.
He thanked the party members for all their support.
“I want to thank and appreciate the members of the PDP in Yobe state, the stakeholders have given us an opportunity, they have cooperated with us and members of this party are also obedient.
“We have instructed them to be law abiding to ensure that they operate within the ambit of the law, so therefore members of the PDP in Yobe are very good they have given us maximum cooperation and that is why we are having it successfull.
