Rt.Hon.ABDULLAHI HUSSAINI MAIBASIRA, has congratulated the Muslim Ummah on the successful completion of the 1442AH Ramadan Fast as they observe Eid-il-Fitr which marks the end of sacred month of Ramadan.
The National Financial Secretary in his Eid-el-Fitri message, in Niger State on Thursday, congratulated the Muslim faithful on the completion of the 30-day fast, stressing that the spiritual exercise had drawn them closer to Allah.
He said the Muslim Faithfull has gone through one of the most rigorous Islamic obligations of one month fast and prayers as well as other forms of Worship and urged all believers to imbibe the lessons learned during the Ramadan period through sacrifices, almsgiving to the needy, continuous exhibition of piety as well as Charity to one another.
MaiBasira, admonished Muslims to put the teachings of the holy month to good use in all undertakings.He urged Muslims and adherents of other religions to live in love, peace and harmony with one another.
Rt. Hon. Abdullahi Maibasira, who commended Muslims for their unflinching support to the party through prayers, counsel and active participation in party affairs, urged them not to relent in contributing to the development of the party, as the party will leave no stone unturned just to see to progress of the Nation.
“I congratulate the Muslim Ummah on the Eid-el- Fitri celebration, and pray that Almighty Allah will accept our prayers, to bring an end to the insecurity rampaging the country and preserve our lives to witness many more celebrations,”
