PDP National Working Committee (NWC) Directs NPS and NLA to Step Aside and Launches Investigation Committee

The National Working Committee (NWC) of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) convened for its 593rd Meeting on Thursday, October 10, 2024, and has directed the National Publicity Secretary (NPS), Hon. Debo Ologunagba, and National Legal Adviser (NLA), Kamaldeen Adeyemi Ajibade, SAN, to step aside from their respective positions.

In response to these developments, the NWC has established a committee, chaired by the Deputy National Chairman (South), H.E. Amb. Taofeek Arapaja, to investigate the issues raised against the officers in accordance with the Party’s Constitution.

Effective Friday, October 11, 2024, the NWC has appointed their deputies—Ibrahim Abdullahi Manga, Esq., as Acting National Publicity Secretary, and Barr. Okechukwu Osuoha as Acting National Legal Adviser—to assume their roles in an acting capacity until the committee’s investigation is concluded.

The NWC urges all leaders, stakeholders, and dedicated members of our great Party to remain focused and committed as it navigates the day-to-day affairs of the PDP for its greater good.
