His Excellency, the Executive Governor of Bauchi State Senator Bala Abdulkadir Mohammed alongside his colleagues in PDP Governors Forum today paid a sympathy visit to the people and Government of Zamfara State over the recent inferno that burnt down to ashes properties worth millions of Naira.
The PDP Governors’ Forum while expressing concern on the damages caused by the inferno donated One hundred million Naira to the victims.
The forum expressed worry over politicizing insecurity situation in the State and some parts of the country called on the Federal Government to put an end to it and Nigeria as a whole.
Receiving the forum, the Zamfara State Governor, Alhaji Bello Matawalle thanked them for the visit and the donation, adding that the gesture will ease the sufferings of the victims.
Governor Matawalle disclaimed the rumor of his possible defection from the party, saying that he belongs to the People’s Democratic Party and will continue to do his best for it’s success.
Members of the delegation are Governors of Oyo, Taraba, Rivers, Adama, Bauchi and Sokoto.
Governor Bala was during the visit accompanied by the State PDP Chairman Alhaji Hamza Koshe Akuyam, Honorable Sabo Jamaare among others.
