Over a thousand members of the Social Democratic Party (SDP) in Ababene, one of the largest communities in Cross River State’s, Obubra Local Government Area, shifted their allegiance to the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) on Thursday, OBSERVERS TIMES.
The Obubra PDP leadership embarked on a ward to ward trip on Thursday to educate the public on the need of participating in the Independent National Electoral Commission’s ongoing continuous voter’s card registration. Rt. Hon. Friday Gabriel Okpechi, member of the Cross River State House of Assembly representing Obubra 1 State Constituency, Hon. Frank Ovat, Rt. Hon. Moses Abeng Onor, Obubra PDP Chapter Chairman, Chief Godwin Igwe, and others were among those present.
