This morning, we flagged off the remodelling of the Lekan Salami Sports Complex, Adamasingba, Ibadan. The duration for the remodelling is 12 months. By which time, COVID-19 will either be a part of history, or we will have adapted to living with the virus.
2. The total contract sum for the remodelling is ₦5,580,001,151.62. This project will be funded using the Alternate Project Funding Approach (APFA). The contractor, Messrs Peculiar Ultimate Concerns Ltd, will fund the project and then we will repay over 29 months.
3. We look forward to returning to the stadium in a year and watching 3SC beat their opponents live. We also look forward to hosting world-class sporting events in the stadium and generating revenue from it.
