Ondo Decides 2020 : Jegede Defeats Deputy Governor, Clinches PDP’s Governorship Election Ticket

The governorship candidate of the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) at the 2016 election in Ondo state, Tayo Jegede has defeated the Deputy Governor of Ondo state Agoola Ajayi and other aspirants to clinch the Party’s Governorship ticket.
According to the information released on the official twitter handle of the People’s Democratic Party on Wednesday, Jegede came first with  888 of the total votes cast while Ondo deputy governor came second with 657 votes.

He defeated other aspirants with a total vote of 888, while the current Deputy Governor, Agboola Ajayi came 2nd with 657 votes. Congrats!.” tweet by the official twitter handle of the (PDP) read.
It will be recalled that Ajayi had dumped the All Progressives Congress (APC) last month to join the PDP.
