Omala Killing: Ex Kogi Governor Asks for Proactive Actions.

 

Former Governor, Kogi state, Alhaji Ibrahim Idris has described the attacks on Omala local government as recurring.

Idris who made this statement on Friday described the Agojeju Odo massacre as provocative and sad.

While asking the security agencies, state and local government to beef up security, he used the opportunity to commiserate the family of loved ones that were lost.

Describing the incidence as monumental loss of lives and properties, he called for the citing of special security force in Omala and the flash points to arrest the situation.

He also advised the indigenes to report any suspicious movement and information to the law enforcement agencies, so as to nip in bud subsequent incidents.
