The Peoples Democratic Party House of Representative Candidate for Dekina/Bassa Comr. Usman Okai Austin has described the former Chief of Staff to Kogi state Governor Pharmacist Nasiru Yunusa as a fearless leader and a pillar of defense for so many oppressed in Dekina local government and other communities in the state.

Over the years, Pharmacist Nasir has distinguished himself as a very humble, honest, humane and highly organized administrator; a very articulate communicator, courageous professional and determined democrat, who continues to make inestimable contributions towards the unity, stability and development of our state and Dekina in Particular.
Pharmacist Nasiru Yunusa untiring role with other PDP leaders to ensure the stability and growth of our Party especially in the mission to Rescue and Rebuild our nation from the misrule of the APC is commendable and outstanding, despite some health challenge, Nasir has demonstrated leadership quality even while on sick bed, today we thank God you are strong.
“The Candidate congratulates Pharmacist on this remarkable milestone and prays to God to grant him many more years in good health in the service of our dear fatherland,” Okai said.
