The embers of hatred fanned against Nigeria by IPOB terrorists in conjunction with 99% of Southeastern leaders cannot be undone by any campaign for Peter Obi whose company (Hero Lager Beer) bears all the colours displayed on the flags and emblems of IPOB terrorists!
Peter Obi, who has no known track record of development in Anambra State when he was Governor, has never ever mentioned IPOB by name to condemn them in just the same way he has never ever taken time to explain in clear terms how and why the colours and symbols of his Hero Lager Beer are the same with those of the terrorist organisation. Asking anyone outside the Southeast to vote for this deceitful character with a deceitful voice is the same thing as asking modern day Europeans to vote for a politician who openly wears the Nazi swastika symbol. It wouldn’t work.
If politicians from the Southeast want to be taken seriously, especially those of them who are in the PDP or have merely just left the PDP crime behemoth recently like Peter Obi, they need to address televised press conferences to call IPOB a terrorist organisation and condemn them, and then pledge full loyalty to the unity and sovereignty of Nigeria. Afterwards, they should begin a sensitization campaign to warn and advise their youths against hatemongering on social media, because they dominate the hate speech industry on cyberspace. Anything short of this from Southeast leaders will be mere cat calls on campaign trails, which no one serious will take seriously.
