The National Coordinator of Peoples Democratic Party Youth Frontier, Comrade Austin Okai, has advised Prince Uche Secondus to cease from parading himself as the National Chairman of PDP and stay away from the National Secretariat of the party.

Comrade Okai made this statement on Monday evening following an order from the Portharcourt Division of Federal High Court that restrained Prince Secondus from exercising the functions of the National Chairman of PDP.

“It is in the interest of Prince Uche Secondus to understand that the judgement of the court is binding on everyone except a superior court upturn it. Therefore, he must, in his own interest, stay away from the party’s national secretariat and desist from parading himself as the National Chairman in line with the court order”, Okai stated.

“As a party of law and order that believe strongly in the rule of law, PDP will not encourage disobedience to the order of the Federal High Court and Secondus must understand this”, Comrade Okai spoke further.

Continuing, Comrade Okai explained that Secondus’ predicament is from his home and he should sort himself out without dragging the party aground.

“Prince Uche Secondus’ problem stems from his ward chapter, which suspended him. His suspension was ratified by his local government chapter and later the Rivers state PDP chapter. It was based on his suspension from the party that prompted party members to approach the court to seek his suspension because as a suspended member, he has no right to enjoy any rights and privileges of the party, including the Chairmanship. He should sort himself out from his ward chapter without dragging the party to the mud”, he concluded.
