Governor of Rivers State, Nyeson Wike has revealed how Governor Godwin Obaseki and his Deputy Governor, Philip Shuaibu Knelt down before us to secure Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) ticket.
Wike was reacting to statement credited to Deputy Governor of Edo State that there are alternative to PDP asked the National leadership of the party to constitute Disciplinary Panel against the Deputy Governor.
Wike said, “Deputy Governor of Edo State is threatening us that they will leave the party, the same people knelt down before us to give them umbrella when they were denied the ticket of APC.
Today, they have effontery to threaten PDP. When they were denied ticket in APC, we give them umbrella and make sure that they win the election
Today , a deputy governor will be threatening PDP that there are alternative on Television, I will tell the National Chairman of the party to constitute Disciplinary Panel against the Deputy Governor and if they don’t do iit , I will invoke necessary section of the party’s constitution against him.”
