Ahead of Kogi Guber election on Saturday,APC members across the state have shun it’s grand finale after collecting 500,000 to mobilise supporters from each ward in the state .
This is coming 48 hours to the governorship election as most of the party members and supporters have expressed reservation on the chances of the state governor been re-elected,the grand finale unlike the zoomed one,did not witness the who is who in APC,an indication of lack of the zeal from the electorates to the re-election of Governor Yahaya Bello.
APC Stalwarts like Chief Ahmed Bola Tinubu,some notable state governors were conspicuously absent, except the kaduna state governor,Mallam Nasir El-Rufai who went on his knees publicly to beg the electorates to forgive Governor Yahaya Bello,with a promise to do more in the second term
Prominent supporters across the state except those from the central part of the state that believed in ethnic agenda were only prominent to grace the grand finale, that was shoddily and poorly attended by the APC supporters
This development may not be far from the inner circle information that most of supporters and loyalist of the Kogi governor will withdraw their support few days to the election,looking dejected and worried,the stare governor relies on bribing the INEC officials,use of thugs both indigene and imported ones,and the security agencies to rig the forthcoming governorship election in the state.
The confluence stadium was visibly empty to people’s costernation and general believe that the state governor and the current administration is now history after the Saturday’s election.
