NNPP declares Kwankwaso’s 2027 Presidential bid dead on arrival, says his a dishonest selfish politician

The National Secretary of the New Nigeria People’s Party (NNPP), Comrade Oginni Olaposi Sunday, has dismissed Senator Rabiu Musa Kwankwaso’s 2027 presidential ambitions, calling them “dead on arrival” and describing him as a “jester.”

In a statement released in Abeokuta, the Ogun State capital, Oginni labeled Kwankwaso a betrayer after the NNPP founder, Dr. Boniface Okechukwu Aniebonam, granted him the party’s platform to contest the 2023 presidential election. Kwankwaso, according to Oginni, failed to manage internal crises within the party, proving himself unfit for the presidency.

“It is laughable for Kwankwaso, who cannot solve NNPP’s crises, to boast about becoming Nigeria’s president in 2027 amidst the country’s many challenges,” Oginni stated. He added that Kwankwaso’s actions reveal a lack of qualification to aspire to any position, let alone the presidency.

Oginni also criticized Kwankwaso’s recent political maneuvers, accusing him of seeking a ministerial appointment from President Tinubu, only to be denied.

I challenge Kwankwaso to come to open television and swear with the holy Quran before Nigerians if he didn’t meet the President for about 3 days to the presidential election to pledge his support and loyalty for Tinubu’s presidency against Atiku and Obi”.

“He who is coming to equity must come with clean hands. Kwankwaso is not clean enough to challenge the president in 2027.

“Kwankwaso is a dishonest and selfish politician who always protects his personal interests at the expense of others,” Oginni claimed, asserting that Kwankwaso no longer has the NNPP platform to contest in 2027. According to Oginni, Kwankwaso and his faction have been expelled from the NNPP, and the party is pursuing legal action to stop what it calls Kwankwaso’s “shenanigans.”
