NIM Commends National Assembly Service Commission Over The Ongoing Re-organisation.

The ongoing re-organisation in the National Assembly under the leadership of the new Chairman,National Assembly Service Commission (NASC), Engnr Ahmed Kadi Amshi is the best thing that will happen to the service in recent time.
National Integrity Movement ( NIM) under the leadership of Nwoarah Nwokomah, says the ongoing rationalisation is long overdue ,so as to restore sanity to the service.
Nwoarah deplored the attitude of some highly placed top goverment officials who tend to manipulate records to keep themselves perpetually in service to the detriment of others.
He condemned in strongest terms the change of year of service by the immediate past Clerk of the National Assembly,Sani Omolori to allow more years in office.
According to him, there is no ambiguity in the civil service rules that stated clearly on 35 years in service or 60 years of age as the case may be.
The group says it is solidly behind efforts of the new commission to restore transparency, dignity, sanity and orderliness in the Commission.
He urged the new Commission to look into carrying out massive transfers of officers who have overstayed in their offices,so as to act as checks and balances.
He praised the current leadership of the National Assembly for the choice of Engnr. Ahmed Kadi Amchi ,saying his tenure will witness new changes from his versed experience.
