Nigerian Integrity Movement(NIM),a political pressure group has call on Nigerian President, Muhammadu Buhari to remove Senator Chris Ngige from his current Ministerial position as Minister of the Federal republic.
This move will save the country from tribal politics and in-depth corruption prevalent in the system.
In a statement by Mr Kayode Esan, National Coordinator, NIM said it will be the best decision by the current administration to forestall corrupt tendencies and sharp practices in NSITF.
Yomi said the Minister of Labour and Productivity has turned the NSITF as green field were his cronies, acquaintances and close allies are either employed or award contracts at exorbitant quotations.
He says the controversial Minister’s activities if not nip in the bud, is likely to create endless labour crises and serious lapses in the performance of the revenue generating agency.
Yomi says the suspended Management of the agency, was the best thing that had happened to the organisation in the areas of performance and innovations.
He appeal to the President to save the agency from the avarice Minister,whose attention is geared towards misappropriation of funds in the agency.
He expressed confidence on the present Management,saying the Minister’s grievances is to turn the current Management to stooges.
