Nigeria’s Covid-19 Infection Rate falls further, as NCDC records 146 new cases

Nigeria Centre for Disease Control on Tuesday reported a further decline in the rate of Covid-19 infection in the country, as it recorded 146 new cases, taking the total to 4787.

Confirmed new cases fell across the states, including Lagos, the epicentre,  with 57,  followed by Kano where 27 infections were recorded.

Other states’ figures were: 9-Edo, 8-Bauchi, 7-Yobe,4-Kebbi,4-Oyo, 3-Katsina, 3-Niger, 2-Plateau, 2-Borno, 2-Sokoto, 2-Benue, 1-Gombe, 1-Enugu, 1-Ebonyi, 1-Ogun, 1-FCT, 1-Rivers

NCDC said 959 patients have so far been discharged, while 158 died.
